Requesting Your Home Inspection Is Easy!

HELPFUL TIPS TO REQUESTING YOUR INSPECTION ONLINE

  1. Be as detailed as possible when completing the form. We communicate with everyone, including the listing agent, to facilitate a flawless inspection process.

  2. Remember, you typically have 10 days to complete the inspection process. We recommend that you schedule your home inspection as early within those 10 days as possible.

  3. Add our email address to your contacts right away to ensure our emails do not land in your spam folder. Please use the following email address: Scheduling@ForeverHomeInspection.com

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOUR INSPECTION IS REQUESTED?

  1. When you submit the request form, it goes directly to our admin team. We will contact you via email with available scheduling options. Please note that our form is NOT a live representation of our inspection calendar; therefore, the inspection is not booked until confirmed by our admin team.

  2. Once contacted, you will confirm the date and time that fits best with your calendar.

  3. Then you’ll receive a text and email letting you know we have confirmed your inspection, along with a link to your inspection portal. Please pay close attention to this email; it contains two essential action items for the homebuyer to complete.

  4. In the days leading up to your inspection, you’ll receive messages that help to guide you through the inspection process.

  5. You are encouraged to attend the inspection! The inspector will arrive 30 minutes early. Expect the inspection to take approximately 45-60 minutes per every 1,000 square feet. We encourage clients and agents to arrive towards the end of the inspection time for a personal walk-through of the inspector’s findings.

  6. Once the inspector publishes the inspection report, you’ll receive a text and email alerting you that the home inspection report is ready to view in your inspection portal (please note: the inspection report(s) remain locked until the full invoice amount is paid in full).

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR INSPECTION PORTAL

Upon confirmation of the home inspection, both the client and the agent will receive a link to the client’s online inspection portal where the following events/details are available for viewing.

  • OVERVIEW MENU:

    • View the timeline of events that have occurred and are scheduled.

  • TASKS MENU:

    • Review your confirmed services.

    • View and sign your inspection agreement(s) (buyer action item).

    • Make a payment online (buyer action item).

  • SERVICES MENU:

    • Request additional inspection services (ie. sewer scope, termite inspection, radon inspection) at any time prior to the inspection (buyer action item).

  • REPORTS MENU:

    • View your interactive home inspection report, sewer scope report, and termite report.

  • DOCUMENTS MENU:

What are our inspection policies?

OUR TRAVEL POLICY

  • The first 60-mile round-trip is completely complimentary to our clients.

  • We charge a reasonable travel fee at $1.00 per mile past the 60 complimentary miles.

OUR PAYMENT POLICY

  • Payment is due before, or at the time of service.

  • We do not offer defer to closing payment options.

OUR CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULING POLICY

  • If an inspection is canceled or rescheduled for any reason within 24 hours of the inspection start time, we invoice $150.00.
